Owning your own business is a dream shared by many Americans, but when one man decided to open a donut shop in Missouri City, Texas, he found himself by-and-large without many customers, and his dream perilously close to dissolving. However his fortunes have changed, with the help of one tweet.
Austin-based photographer Billy By saw his Dad struggling with his new business and decided to help out by sending a heart-wrenching tweet:
My dad is sad cause no one is coming to his new donut shop 😭 pic.twitter.com/y5aGB1Acrc

Nearly 280,000 people have shared the powerful tweet so far, and business has done a 180 because of it.

Community is what makes Texas great, and the community of Missouri City has turned out in force to support this business.
Y’all don’t have to worry about Billy’s dad anymore, he’s very happy now.
Some of the offerings include kolaches stuffed with boudin or brisket (those are klobasneks for the learned and Czech Texans) , iced donuts and specialty donuts featuring fruity pebbles and m&ms. The shop is located at 7022 Hwy 6 suite 800, Missouri City, TX 77459 if you’d like to go put a smile on Billy’s Dad’s face.
