Austin-based artist V… Vaughan has been painting oil on canvas for 17 years now. I covered her work for an article I wrote for Wide Open Country last year, and she has recently come out with a piece that is causing quite a stir.

“‘Buffalo, USA’ [is] my working title.” V… Vaughn posted in an update to her Facebook page.  “This one, a 22×28 oil is bound for Buffalo, NY whenever I call it finished,” she stated.

The work was commissioned by a customer in Buffalo, New York, but it looks like she’ll be doing a few more when this one is done. Keep up the excellent work, V… Vaughan!
